Job summary

Harbinger Motors is seeking an experienced Electrical Systems Engineer to define, develop, and verify HV/LV system requirements for our EV platform. You will define HV/LV architectures, charging integration, energy management trade-offs, and safety compliance across the electrical domain.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in automotive systems engineering with BEV experience, strong knowledge of BEV architectures, and hands-on testing capability in a cross-functional team environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent educational credential.
• 5+ years systems engineering in automotive with BEV focus.
• Strong BEV systems understanding including energy management, battery systems, drives, and charging.
• Experience with software/hardware integration and vehicle communication protocols.
• ISO 26262/Functional Safety experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop HV and LV architectures, specifications, and power budgets in Flow Engineering.
• Write requirements, fault-management strategies, and test plans for HV/LV subsystems.
• Collaborate with Powertrain, Battery, Harness, Safety and Software teams to meet targets and standards.
• Define vehicle operating power modes and manage LV power across all states.
• Define AC/DC fast charging protocols and charging interface standards.
