Job summary

ALSO, an electric mobility company, seeks a Manager of Drivetrain Test Engineering to lead validation for actuation systems across light EV platforms. Build and grow a team of test engineers, define validation plans, and ensure high quality lab capabilities from concept to production.

You will recruit and mentor engineers, drive continuous improvement, and collaborate across Mechanical, Electrical, Controls, Manufacturing, and Quality to meet durability, efficiency, and safety targets.

Qualifications

• Experience building, leading, and developing high-performing engineering test programs.
• Structured validation methodologies and quality-focused mindset.
• Strong understanding of EV powertrain systems and validation needs.
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams across design, electrical, controls, and manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Build, lead, mentor, and grow a high-performing team of test engineers and technicians.
• Recruit, coach, and develop engineering talent and foster technical excellence.
• Own the drivetrain test engineering organization and allocate resources.
• Define validation strategy, schedules, and End-of-Line test profiles.
• Develop and maintain world-class test infrastructure and lab capabilities.
• Establish standards, methodologies, and automation practices for validation.
• Lead cross-functional validation with multiple departments to meet performance targets.
• Review results, drive root-cause investigations, and lead corrective actions.
