Job summary

ALSO., an electric mobility company in Silicon Valley, seeks a Mechanical Hardware Test & Validation Engineer to validate low voltage electromechanical modules for next‑gen light EVs. You will develop test plans, execute physical tests, and document results for critical stakeholders.

Responsibilities include setting up DAQ systems, operating sensors, analyzing data with Python or MATLAB, and coordinating with vendors. Travel up to 15% may be required; bachelor’s in a technical field is required.

Qualifications

• Hands-on testing experience with setup, instrumentation, data recording and teardowns.
• Familiarity with data acquisition systems and sensors used in testing.
• Ability to write scripts or small programs for data analysis.

Responsibilities

• Generate test plans and own end-to-end execution, analysis and reporting.
• Execute testing on low‑voltage electromechanical modules and verify performance and reliability.
• Set up and operate DAQ systems and sensors to collect test data.
• Coordinate with vendors, contract manufacturers and test facilities.
• Analyze results and prepare concise technical summaries.
• Support maintenance and calibration of test equipment and develop new fixtures.
• Travel to test vendors up to 15% of the time.
