Job summary

ALSO seeks a Dyno Controls Engineer to build in-house dyno controls software and validate small EVs with the dream drive team. You will develop dyno models, GUI interfaces, and integrated control systems for drive units and test benches.

Lead integration of dyno drives, sensors, power supplies, and cooling with embedded controls. Collaborate across controls, firmware, electrical, mechanical, and system engineers to drive validation and development.

Qualifications

• BS or MS in Controls, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
• Proficiency with MATLAB/Simulink, Stateflow, and automation scripting.
• Experience with real-time simulations and GUI development.
• Hands-on with dynamometers, power supplies, and motor drive systems.

Responsibilities

• Develop and validate in-house drive unit dynos, vehicle dynos, and test benches, including software and GUI.
• Integrate dyno systems with sensors, power supplies, and cooling.
• Create dyno and embedded controls interfaces for automated validation.
• Troubleshoot dyno tests, analyze logs, and fix software bugs.
• Collaborate with controls, firmware, electrical, mechanical, and system engineers for validation and development.
