Ford Motor Company is seeking a Systems Engineer for End-to-End Software Diagnostics & Observability within the EVDD team. You will own feature development from concept to production, merging embedded systems, cloud services, and AI/ML engineering to deliver scalable diagnostic workflows.

This role focuses on building an observable, production-ready pipeline that translates telemetry into actionable insights for engineers, technicians, and leadership, enabling rapid fault isolation and proactive

Qualificações

• BS or equivalent degree in a technical field or equivalent practical experience developing and deploying software solutions.
• Experience developing web applications with React/JavaScript.
• Strong understanding of embedded systems, cloud services and AI/ML concepts.

Responsabilidades

• Cradle-to-Grave Feature Ownership: Define vehicle observability needs and lead integration to global production monitoring.
• The Quality Gatekeeper: Define and enforce the Definition of Done for diagnostic workflows with observable, maintainable code.
• Engineering for Personas: tailor system behavior and data visualization for diverse users including 3rd-party technicians and enterprise engineers.
• Technical-to-Business Translation: communicate technical tradeoffs and root-cause analyses to technical and non-technical leadership.
• The Intelligence Loop: engineer AI-powered diagnostics combining vehicle signals with AI reasoning to automate fault isolation.
• Production Validation: lead integration testing and simulate failure modes to ensure correct alerts and human-in-the-loop processes.
