Job summary

Ford Motor Company is seeking a hands-on engineer to advance sensor subsystems for next-generation vehicles. The role combines dyno testing, vehicle evaluation, and detailed data analysis to improve sensor accuracy and emissions compliance.

You will lead calibration efforts, interface development hardware, and document system robustness for production readiness, working within an on-site/hybrid Ford team focused on electrified propulsion.

Qualifications

• BS Electrical engineering with strong mechanical understanding is required.
• Experience with data acquisition and MATLAB for post-processing is expected.
• Familiarity with sensor calibration and hardware interfacing is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop optimized sensor subsystem functionality for accuracy and emissions compliance.
• Lead robustness studies to meet functional requirements across vehicle fleet.
• Support calibration community and review future sensor implementations.
• Develop hardware interfaces and instrumentation for test vehicles.
