Job summary

You will interface with development hardware, microprocessor software, and data acquisition tools, joining an agile team to advance Ford's electric vehicle platforms while operating in a hybrid onsite setup.

Qualifications

• BS Engineering degree required and related to electrical or mechanical disciplines.
• Experience with microprocessor software and software development.
• Experience with data acquisition tools such as Oscilloscopes, CAN interfaces, calibration interfaces.
• FMEA, P-diagram and validation testing knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop optimized sensor subsystem functionality for improved accuracy and emissions compliance.
• Lead robustness studies to meet functional requirements across the vehicle fleet.
• Support calibration community in reviewing future sensor implementations.
• Develop requirements for hardware interfacing with new sensors.
• Lead system-level robustness documentation with design and release engineers.
