Job summary

EverCharge in Hayward, CA is seeking a proactive Project Manager to drive EV charging projects from pre-sales through closeout. You will coordinate timelines, vendor relationships, and client communications to deliver high-quality deployments on schedule.

You will oversee site design, permitting, logistics, and field execution, collaborate with electrical engineers, manage purchase orders in NetSuite, and ensure inspections pass.

Qualifications

• Experience in project management for EV charging infrastructure or electrical/construction sectors.
• Strong grasp of electrical scopes, site plans, and engineering drawings.
• Experience navigating local permitting processes and AHJs with utilities.
• Ability to manage project budgets, pricing, and GM alignment.
• Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and organizational skills with cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Recruit and manage electrical contractors, ensuring insurance, safety, and experience standards; negotiate quotes to protect GM targets.
• Review project details, set realistic schedules, and forecast major events to align with revenue goals.
• Serve as the main face of the project for clients and internal teams; lead regular status calls and meetings.
• Collaborate with electrical engineers to finalize site designs and verify hardware requirements.
• Manage site design, orders, shipments, and logistics for sites and contractors.
• Coordinate permitting, AHJ submissions, and utility upgrade planning; ensure compliance and timely approvals.
• Oversee deployments, validate post-construction operation, obtain inspections, and collect closeout documents.
• Track milestones and vendor invoices in NetSuite; coordinate with Finance for payments.
