Job summary

Pacific Power Solutions (PPS) is seeking an EV Charging Field Service Technician to travel to client sites, perform preventative maintenance, troubleshoot failures, and keep Level 2 and DC fast chargers online. You’ll document every job and work at multiple sites with regional travel up to 50%.

Qualifications

• 2+ years hands-on experience in electrical, electronics, field service, or a related trade.
• Comfort using tablets or laptops for work orders, diagnostics, and reporting.
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record and willingness to travel.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and service Level 2 and DC fast chargers, including cables, connectors, enclosures, cooling systems, and displays.
• Troubleshoot electrical, network, and software faults; diagnose and repair components.
• Restore charger communications, apply firmware updates, and ensure stations are online.
• Document all work, parts, and photos in Scoop Solar or Salesforce Field Service.
