Job summary

Akkodis is seeking a full-time Field Service Engineer/Technician/Electrician to support the San Diego, CA Metro area with extensive local travel and a company vehicle.

Ideal candidates have prior electrical field operations experience in EV charging or solar environments, including medium to high voltage troubleshooting and leadership capabilities. Comprehensive benefits are included.

Qualifications

• Experience in field operations related to servicing/troubleshooting DC medium to high-voltage (EV charging and/or Solar) environments.
• Operations, maintenance, and troubleshooting of medium to high level voltages (480V AC, 500V+ DC) helpful.

Responsibilities

• Lead service and maintenance activities at DC fast charging station sites for risk mitigation, testing, data collection, corrections, and repair management.
• Plan and coordinate major site repairs and improvements.
• Audit field maintenance methods and provide feedback to partners to improve quality and repeatability.
• Develop and support site longitudinal testing activities.
• Conduct electrical forensics within charging station infrastructure.
• Scope of work continuous improvement.
