Pearce Services in Wisconsin is seeking an EV Charging Field Service Electrician to service and maintain Level 2 and DC fast chargers across a regional area. You will handle on-site electrical inspections, preventative maintenance, test equipment, and generate field reports while adhering to safety and contractual requirements.

The role requires a Journeyman electrician, 2+ years in power equipment service, CMMS experience, and solid English communication.

Formación

• Electrical – Certified Electrician (Journeyman level) from a relevant state (REQUIRED).
• 2+ years’ equivalent experience in servicing electrical power equipment in the commercial or utility energy field and/or formal electrical training.
• Strong electrical, electronic, and mechanical troubleshooting skills. Technical knowledge of EV chargers or power electronics is preferred, but not required.
• Experience using CMMS to generate, track, and complete site work requirements.
• Strong Microsoft Office skills.
• Ability to analyze and resolve problems independently with a high level of results orientation.
• Must be proficient in reading, writing, speaking, and understanding English to safely perform job duties.

Responsabilidades

• Perform OEM testing, troubleshooting, repairs, and upgrades to EV charging equipment (Level 2 to DC Fast Chargers).
• Test insulation, thermal imagery, torque tests, and performance evaluations.
• Troubleshoot system performance issues and locate/isolate faults.
• Coordinate with Planning and Scheduling to adhere to maintenance schedules and complete work orders on time.
• Review site manuals and drawings to ensure proper service and maintenance.
• In-field maintenance including preventive/corrective maintenance, site reporting, and work-order completion.
• Ensure issues are documented in the work order system and addressed promptly.
