Job summary

Cumming Group is seeking a Construction Project Manager to lead electrical and industrial projects for a marquee client. The role is remote with 25–50% travel within a specified U.S. region, focusing on scope, cost, and schedule management.

Responsibilities include preparing PM plans and budgets, coordinating with stakeholders, and driving permitting processes. Requires 5+ years in PM/engineering/construction management and relevant certifications (CCM, PMP, PE, AIA, LEED).

Qualifications

• Education: BS in Construction Management, Engineering, QS, Architecture, or related field
• Experience: 5+ years of experience Project Management, engineering, or construction management
• Preferred Certification: CCM, PMP, PE, AIA, LEED

Responsibilities

• Plan, manage, and coordinate all aspects of the project schedule, scope, and cost.
• Value Engineer the project by identifying opportunities for savings and ensuring material substitutions are equal.
• Communicate with and manage project stakeholders.
• Prepare Project Management plan and fee budget/proposal at the project outset.
• Evaluate documents and communicate the client’s specific goals and expectations to all project team members.
• Develop and communicate action plans that will lead the project team throughout the project, beginning with the initial Project Management Plan.
• Coordinate with cost management group for cost estimates, cost studies, and budget reconciliation.
• Drive the permitting process by designing team documents for submission to agencies.
• Ensure the project design management follows client project documents (budget, scope, schedule, standards).
• Prepare cost and revenue projections.
