Qualifications

• B.S. in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science or related fields.
• 1–2 years experience in xEV battery systems or production-intent role.
• Ability to participate in cross-functional design reviews across internal teams and external suppliers.
• Basic CAD knowledge with Catia/NX/Creo and willingness to learn HATCI CAD processes.
• Ability to read drawings, specifications and understand materials/processing implications.
• Working knowledge of xEV components, high voltage battery systems, and electrification tech.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as needed.
• Ability to speak and understand English with proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Execute projects to develop high voltage battery systems for xEV vehicles.
• Design and develop battery pack systems and modules.
• Manage parts/systems design release and documentation.
• Benchmark competitor electrified vehicles to guide target setting.
• Communicate battery tech with HQ and production programs.
• Stay current with new battery tech and industry trends.
• Provide technical support for xEV battery system concerns in pre/post-production.
• Collaborate with Korean HQ and other Hyundai R&D centers.
