Job summary

Contemporary Amperex Technology Kentucky (CATK) seeks a Production Quality Engineer to oversee quality management on our US production line. You will implement control measures, monitor SPC/FAI/MES, and drive continuous improvement across processes and audits.

The role requires 3+ years in vehicle manufacturing QC, strong data analysis, and excellent communication for cross-functional collaboration. In-person attendance is required at the Michigan site with competitive benefits offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in production quality control or quality assurance in vehicle manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of quality management systems and tools including SPC, FAI, and MES.
• Proficient in using FMEA, FTA, 8D, Six Sigma, and SPC.
• Strong data analysis and Microsoft Office skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to work full-time with regular in-person attendance.

Responsibilities

• Oversee quality management and control of production line processes.
• Implement and monitor quality control measures to maintain high standards.
• Ensure all quality activities comply with company standards and requirements.
• Monitor SPC, FAI, MES, CTQ management, FIFO, rework, and equipment qualification.
• Lead lessons learned and prevent recurrence of issues.
• Support process audits and LPA audits.
• Manage changes in production processes and implement response plans.
• Coordinate with teams to implement changes smoothly.
• Provide training to enhance team competency.
