Job summary

Ford Motor Company is launching BlueOval Battery Park Michigan to build a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility for electrified vehicle components. Join a startup-style team within a legacy automaker, contributing to scalable production and technology leadership on guided timelines.

You will lead maintenance for automated production equipment, apply data-driven improvements, and help shape a culture of safety, collaboration and innovation across the plant floor.

Qualifications

• DoL or state certification or military equivalent.
• Industrial mechanical experience or equivalent.
• Able to read data and safety procedures.
• Proficient with maintenance tooling and standard operating practices.
• Comfortable learning new technology and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Preventative maintenance on automated production equipment.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues.
• Calibrate critical measurement devices used in production.
• Monitor processes to identify quality defects and corrective actions.
• Analyze equipment performance data to drive improvements.
• Adhere to safety procedures and wear required PPE.
• Document maintenance activities and parts used in the CMMS.
• Collaborate with operators, engineers and other technicians.
