Job summary

Contemporary Amperex Technology Kentucky LLC (CATK) seeks multiple full-time Manufacturing Process Engineers to optimize production quality and processes for automotive batteries. You will lead efforts to improve yield, FTY, and monitoring, while mitigating risks for new products and materials.

On-site presence and collaboration with cross-functional teams are essential. The role requires a engineering degree, 3+ years’ experience in battery manufacturing, and strong problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in electrochemical engineering, engineering, materials science, or related fields.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and enhance yield and utilization of quality products.
• Improve First Time Yield (FTY) to meet quality standards on first pass.
• Develop and implement monitoring systems for mass production processes.
• Conduct thorough analysis to detect and address anomalies promptly.
• Evaluate risks with new products, materials, processes, and equipment; implement mitigation strategies.
• Provide on-site support for mass production customers and audits; ensure documentation is up-to-date.
