Job summary

Latitude AI is seeking a Service Technician Associate to join the Service Operations team in Dearborn for a 1-year contract. You will maintain and repair a growing fleet of hybrid and electric vehicles, document findings, and collaborate with cross-functional teams on ADAS and EV systems.

The role requires hands-on vehicle experience, diagnostic hardware/software knowledge, and the ability to travel up to 15% for training and support at other locations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED with two years of employment experience.
• Experience working on vehicles professionally.
• Knowledge of vehicle diagnostic hardware and software.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Expect to potentially travel up to 15% of the time for training and/or support of other office locations.
• Must have valid driver’s license and ability to meet Latitude AI’s minimum driving record requirements, as verified by Motor Vehicle Record background checks prior to hire and periodically thereafter.
• Ability to meet Latitude’s Vehicle Operator safety screening requirements, including drug screening and criminal background checks conducted prior to hire and periodically thereafter.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair a growing fleet of hybrid and electric vehicles.
• Accurately document all findings and track time accordingly.
• Diagnose issues using supplied hardware and software combinations.
• Communicate with cross functioning teams on electrical and electronic systems and autonomous control systems.
• Follow documented work instructions completely and accurately.
• Validate DAT, ADAS, AV and EV systems functionality.
• Work in small teams as needed to complete any engineering requirements.
• Track inventory of the location's parts and supplies.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
