Job summary

TRUMPF Inc. in Austin, TX, seeks a Field Service Engineer to install, repair, upgrade, and troubleshoot EUV Drive Laser systems at customer sites worldwide.

You will travel up to 100% and receive extensive training, developing deep technical expertise within a global multi-disciplinary team. Requirements include an Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent), 2+ years in field service or semiconductor manufacturing, strong diagnostics and documentation

Qualifications

• Associate/Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• 2+ years of field service machine commissioning or installation experience.
• 2+ years of experience in semiconductor high-tech manufacturing.
• Strong reading of schematics, blueprints, and technical documentation.
• Willingness to relocate to Austin, TX or Taylor, TX.
• Valid Driver's License and passport for international travel.

Responsibilities

• Install and commission EUV Drive Laser systems at customer sites.
• Assemble, align, and qualify laser system components in cleanrooms to spec.
• Troubleshoot using technical drawings, schematics and blueprints.
• Perform preventative maintenance and system diagnostics.
• Maintain responsibility for tools and measuring instruments.
• Travel up to 100% (North America, Europe, Asia).
