Job summary

TRUMPF is seeking a field service engineer to install, repair, and upgrade EUV Drive Laser systems at customer sites worldwide. The role offers extensive training, deep technical growth, and participation in a global multidisciplinary team.

The position requires relocation to Austin, TX or Taylor, TX and up to 100% travel, including overnight stays and international trips. Ideal candidates have an engineering degree and 2+ years in semiconductor/high-tech manufacturing.

Qualifications

• Degree or military equivalent with electrical focus.
• 2+ years field service/installation in semiconductor or high-tech manufacturing.
• Willing to relocate to Austin, TX or Taylor, TX and travel up to 100%.
• Valid driver’s license and passport for international travel.

Responsibilities

• Install, commission, and troubleshoot EUV Drive Laser systems at customer sites.
• Assemble and align laser system components in cleanrooms per specs.
• Perform diagnostics using schematics, blueprints and test sequences.
• Maintain tools and measuring instruments used in field service.
• Prepare technical reports including field service and safety reports.
• Participate in 24/7 shift coverage.
• Travel up to 100% (North America, Europe, Asia).
