Job summary

Stripe in Dublin seeks an experienced European R&D incentives lead to develop and manage Stripe’s incentives programs in Ireland and the UK. You will support US credits and explore global opportunities, building trusted relationships with engineering and product teams to document qualifying work.

You will translate complex technical activity into clear reports and help strengthen data and documentation processes across finance and compliance functions.

Qualifications

• 6–8 years of Irish R&D tax credit or global R&D incentive experience.
• Engineering or computer science qualification with finance experience.
• Strong knowledge of Irish R&D tax credit regime and documentation.
• Excellent written and oral communication, including report writing.
• Strong project-management with cross-jurisdiction leadership.
• Detail-oriented with professional judgment; autonomous work ability.

Responsibilities

• Lead Stripe’s European R&D incentives program in Ireland and UK.
• Support the annual US federal/state research-credit study and audits.
• Own end-to-end technical documentation for incentives.
• Analyze eligible R&D expenditure and prepare financial calculations.
• Design process improvements for incentive claims and data quality.
• Coordinate with Finance, Engineering, and cross-functional teams.
• Monitor changes in tax legislation and grant opportunities.
• Assess global R&D incentives opportunities.
