Job summary

Campbell Scientific is seeking an Environmental Application Engineer to join our European team, ideally in Germany (Munich region) or the UK Midlands. You will apply scientific knowledge to deliver high‑quality environmental measurement solutions for universities, research institutions, and meteorological organisations across Europe.

This role combines technical guidance, training, and product expertise with customer engagement.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in environmental monitoring or related technical markets.
• Experience advising universities, research organisations, or meteorological bodies on technical matters.
• Strong understanding of environmental instrumentation and measurement techniques.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide first- and second-line technical support to customers and internal teams on Campbell Scientific instrumentation, sensors, data loggers, and software.
• Diagnose and resolve technical issues with timely solutions.
• Support system configuration, commissioning, and ongoing operation.
• Develop and maintain environmental monitoring expertise and best-practice measurement approaches.
• Build trusted relationships with universities and national hydrometeorological organisations.
