Job summary

FCP Euro is seeking a Customer Service Automotive Technical Specialist in Milford, CT. You will be the go-to expert, advising enthusiasts and professionals, guiding pre-purchase support, and solving post-purchase technical challenges.

Role requires hands-on automotive knowledge, strong communication, and comfort with digital tools. On-site orientation is required; after training, role may be remote-eligible with occasional in-person meetings.

Qualifications

Experience in customer service or technical support within automotive industry preferred.
Ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly via phone, chat, and email.
Comfort using computers and digital tools in a professional setting.
Ability to handle multiple inquiries in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Guide customers with pre-purchase support via phone, chat, and email to ensure correct parts for repairs.
Troubleshoot post-purchase issues including error orders and part replacements.
Support team members by handling advanced technical escalations.
Document customer interactions accurately and maintain workflow adherence.
Identify recurring issues and work with internal teams to improve products and processes.
Collaborate with technical content and product teams to enhance fitment accuracy and descriptions.
Contribute to internal knowledge bases with common technical solutions.
Stay current with latest European vehicle technologies and industry developments.
