Job summary

TechDoQuest is seeking an End User Computing (EUC) Engineer to design, implement and optimize the enterprise EUC environment in Redmond, WA. You will oversee desktop/mobile device images, Intune/SCCM deployments, AD policies, and JAMF management to ensure compliant, secure, and efficient user experiences.

You will contribute to platform engineering, packaging, enrollment procedures, and automation via PowerShell.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience with Intune, SCCM/MECM, and Windows OS engineering.
• Hands-on expertise in SOE image creation, maintenance, and deployment.
• Knowledge of Active Directory, GPO management, and identity services.
• Experience with mobile device management and security compliance; JAMF familiarity.

• Create and maintain Standard Operating Environments (SOE) images aligned with client standards and update ITSM records.
• Lead EUC platform engineering activities including Intune administration and product evaluations.
• Develop and deploy software packages (MSI/IntuneWin) and manage software distribution to endpoints.

EUC Engineer Job Description Role Summary The End User Computing (EUC) Engineer is responsible for engineering, managing, securing, and optimizing the enterprise end user technology environment. This role oversees the configuration, deployment, and lifecycle management of desktops, mobile devices, applications, operating system images, and related EUC platforms such as Intune, SCCM, Active Directory, and JAMF. The engineer ensures reliable end user services, compliance with standards, and continuous improvement of workplace technology

Key Responsibilities

• 1. Standard Operating Environment (SOE) Create and maintain SOE images aligned with client standards. Develop new SOE configuration image projects. Manage, maintain, and update existing software images. Perform unit testing and quality assurance on images. Validate images for software conflicts and compatibility issues. Conduct malware protection activities during image creation. Perform installation, integration, and functional testing. Update ITSM records upon successful image execution. Document all SOE configurations and build procedures.
• 2. Platform Engineering (Intune Administration) Recommend EUC platform standards, architecture, and design. Provide portfolio recommendations on desktop applications and consolidation efforts. Test compatibility of new standards with existing infrastructure. Document exceptions to standards. Conduct product/tool evaluations for EUC technologies. Track and document activities within ITSM.
• 3. Software Distribution & Management (Intune/SCCM) Develop standards for software packaging and distribution. Create deployment ready software packages (MSI/intunewin/etc.). Perform pre deployment testing for all software packages. Ensure compliance with software licensing requirements. Schedule and execute software deployments. Monitor distribution success and resolve installation failures. Maintain up to date software distribution documentation. Report distribution metrics and performance.
• 4. Mobile Device Management (Intune MDM) Configure and administer the MDM platform. Develop and maintain device enrollment procedures. Configure and manage device security policies and compliance rules. Deploy and manage mobile applications. Monitor compliance status and generate compliance reports. Maintain MDM documentation. Provide user support for device enrollment and configuration.
• 5. Active Directory Management Implement and maintain AD security controls. Monitor AD services, performance, and policies. Create and modify Group Policy Objects (GPOs). Optimize GPO design, structure, and performance. Maintain AD documentation. Generate periodic AD security and compliance reports. Conduct periodic AD health checks.
• 6. Apple Device Management (JAMF) (You had only JAMF listed; below is the completed section based on industry standards let me know if you want it tailored.) Administer and maintain JAMF Pro for macOS/iOS devices. Create and deploy configuration profiles and policies. Package, test, and deploy macOS applications. Integrate JAMF with identity/security systems as needed. Monitor device compliance and inventory. Troubleshoot enrollment and device management issues. Maintain documentation for all JAMF-related processes. Required

Skills & Qualifications

Strong experience with Microsoft Intune, SCCM/MECM, and Windows OS engineering. Experience with SOE image creation, maintenance, and deployment. Hands-on experience with software packaging and endpoint security. Knowledge of Active Directory, GPO management, and identity services. Experience with mobile device management and security compliance. Familiarity with JAMF for macOS/iOS environments. Proficiency with PowerShell scripting for automation. Strong troubleshooting, analytical thinking, and documentation skills. We dont needs to have Super experts on managing EUC Skills , this is like IT Support team who can help the associates on fixing the problems of their laptops and printers . Below are the requirement of candidates with 5 to 8 years of experience. Good communication skills , understanding end user issues and troubleshoot ,escalate to L2 / SME team to fix the issues, Triaging tickets, able to answer the calls which are from Customer Troubleshoot the SCCM Agent and Intune agent and Autopilot deployment Assists with the configuration, deployment, and troubleshooting of Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) MAM/MDM Troubleshoot and fix the Windows and Mac OS issues Printer issues and configurations Network connecting and VPN Profile issues Used Service Now to log, assign, and receive support tickets with descriptions of issues, progress, and solutions and guides Tier 1 staff in best practice usage. Participate actively in incidents, problems, requests, and change management processes and the customer ongoing improvement. Upgrade of Windows and mac OS issues Helping the customer on configuring M365 Components (Outlook,Teams,Onedrive) issues
