Job summary

The Cigna Group is seeking an experienced Ethics & Compliance Counsel to advance integrity and ethical conduct across the enterprise. You will partner with HR, Legal, Internal Audit, Compliance, Risk, and business leaders to develop and continually enhance the ethics framework.

Qualifications

• JD required and licensed to practice in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
• 5+ years of legal experience, including at least 1 year in ethics and compliance.
• Experience supporting ethics and compliance programs (conflicts of interest, code of conduct, investigations, anti-bribery).
• Experience advising publicly traded companies preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive matters with sound judgment and discretion.
• Strong communication, relationship-building, and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the conflict of interest program, including reviews and mitigation plans.
• Provide legal counsel on ethics, compliance, anti-bribery, and corporate conduct issues.
• Serve as trusted advisor on ethics policies, procedures, and inquiries.
• Manage the Ethics Help Line and Ethics Office mailbox.
• Oversee internal ethics and compliance investigations and corrective actions.
• Develop, deliver, and maintain ethics training programs and communications.
• Identify compliance risks with cross-functional stakeholders and support mitigation.
• Assist in developing and enhancing ethics policies, procedures, and controls.
• Monitor regulatory developments and advise on potential impacts.
• Manage outside counsel on sensitive matters as needed.
