Job summary

ADP is offering an internship where you will learn to read P&IDs, familiarize yourself with symbols and numbering systems, and understand pipeline designation for ethanol production processes. You will study major equipment, control schemes, and basic mass/energy balances to grasp process fundamentals.

As part of the program, you will gain exposure to AutoCAD and Navisworks (navigation only) and participate in sizing pumps and pipes using reference texts and software, while engaging with a team

Qualifications

• Enrolled in college program related to Chemical or Mechanical Engineering or other Engineering field required.

Responsibilities

• Learn to read P&IDs including symbols and terminology.
• Understand P&ID numbering and pipeline/instrument designation systems.
• Learn phases of ethanol production (cook, fermentation, distillation) via mass/energy balance.
• Familiarize with major equipment and process controls.
• Size pumps and pipes following reference materials and software.
