Valero Energy is hiring a Shipping & Receiving Operator at its ethanol plant in Fort Dodge, IA. The role includes unloading raw materials, loading ethanol and distiller’s grains, and coordinating truck and rail movements on a 12-hour rotating day shift schedule.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or GED and be willing to work on-site. Experience with rail car movements and heavy equipment is preferred, along with SAP proficiency.

Qualificações

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Able and willing to work on-site and in-person, required.

Responsabilidades

• Unload corn from trucks and railcars.
• Load ethanol into trucks and railcars.
• Load distiller’s grains into trucks, railcars, and containers.
• Take samples of corn, ethanol, and distiller’s grains for testing.
• Operate scale house and weigh trucks; enter data in scale house software.
• Move railcars with locomotives or rail movers to facilitate loading/unloading.
• Perform routine housekeeping and preventive maintenance as needed.
• Communicate with local rail service to coordinate rail movements.
