Job summary

Valero Energy is hiring a Shipping & Receiving Operator at an ethanol plant. You will unload corn/loads, load ethanol and distiller's grains, and coordinate truck/rail movements on a 12-hour rotating day shift. The role emphasizes safety, data entry, and operation of plant equipment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Able and willing to work on-site and in-person, required.

Responsibilities

• Unload raw materials from trucks and railcars.
• Load ethanol and distiller's grains into trucks, railcars, and containers.
• Operate scale house; weigh trucks, enter data into scale house software, issue paperwork to drivers.
• Move railcars with locomotive or rail mover to facilitate loading/unloading.
• Follow safety, health, and environmental programs (LOTO, Safe Work Permit, FSMA).
• Perform preventive maintenance tasks and routine housekeeping.
