Job summary

Carbon Green BioEnergy LLC in Lake Odessa, MI is seeking Utility Operators to support operations and ensure maximum production and quality control. You will monitor plant processes and equipment, and learn all areas of the plant, including Distillation, Evaporation, Cook, and Energy Center, while working with DCS and PLC control systems.

Qualifications

• Must have proficiency with basic office software including word processing, email and spreadsheets.
• Must be able to work with computerized maintenance management system.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and time-management skills.
• Ability to work rotating 12-hour shift (days and nights).

Responsibilities

• Operate plant processes on a 12-hour rotating shift.
• Ensure safe, timely, and cost-effective operation of processes.
• Communicate with operators and QA to maintain consistent operation.
• Assist maintenance and report issues via CMMS.
• Support grain handling, shipping/receiving, and plant housekeeping.
