Job summary

White Energy is seeking a Process Operator to safely operate equipment in an ethanol production facility and ensure products meet operating standards. The role requires attention to detail, the ability to multi-task, and coordination with QA/QC for quality control.

The ideal candidate will monitor production, maintain production records, and participate in efficiency projects while following safety procedures and training requirements.

Qualifications

• Self-motivated with good organizational and communication skills.
• Attention to detail and a results-oriented mindset.
• Experience in a similar industrial setting is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Constantly review plant operation to monitor production and quality and identify improvements.
• Participate in projects to improve efficiency or reduce costs.
• Maintain records of production variables such as volume, yield, uptime, and utilities.
• Coordinate with QA/QC laboratory to implement QA policies and procedures.
• Sample and test process streams per QA/QC protocols.
• Interpret QA results and take necessary action.
• Safely add process chemicals as instructed by Shift Supervisor.
• Follow Safe Work procedures including Confined Space, Hot Work, and Lockout/Tagout.
• Support plant cleanliness programs and inventory control.
• Engage in education/training to acquire skills across cook, distillation, energy center, and board operation.
