Job summary

Nomura is building a world‑class ETF platform and seeks an ETF Product Associate to support product strategy, development, competitive positioning, and client solutions. You will work with senior leaders and cross‑functional teams to bring new ideas to market, position offerings competitively, and deliver solutions that meet evolving client needs in a dynamic asset management environment.

The role requires strong analytical and communication skills, expertise with Bloomberg and other market data

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field; MBA, CFA, or CAIA preferred (or in progress).
  • 3-5+ years’ financial services experience, preferably in ETFs or product management, with a solid understanding of ETF mechanics and regulatory frameworks.
  • Knowledge of derivatives or alternative investments with strong investment, analytical, and quantitative aptitude.
  • Exceptional Excel and PowerPoint proficiency.
  • Experience with Bloomberg, Morningstar, Simfund, and similar platforms.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and collaboration skills with the ability to work both independently and in a team environment.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet competing deadlines.
  • FINRA Series 7 license (or acquisition within 90 days of hire).

Responsibilities

  • Conduct competitive analysis across ETF providers, tracking product launches, flows, and positioning strategies.
  • Provide market insights on competitor movements and differentiation opportunities.
  • Research and evaluate new ETF opportunities across equity, fixed income, and alternative asset classes.
  • Support product launches working with Investment Management, Legal, Compliance, and Marketing.
  • Serve as ETF subject matter expert for distribution teams and clients.
  • Develop dashboards and reports to track product metrics, flows, and market share.
  • Create presentations, marketing materials, and analytical reports.
  • Perform quantitative analysis using Bloomberg, Simfund, Morningstar, and Excel.

We are seeking a talented ETF Product Associate to join our dynamic and growing ETF team during an exciting period of strategic expansion. This role offers the opportunity to support product strategy, product development, competitive positioning, and client solutions in one of asset management’s fastest‑evolving segments. You’ll work alongside senior leaders and cross‑functional teams to bring new investment ideas to market, position our offerings competitively, and deliver meaningful solutions that meet the evolving needs of our clients.

In This Role, You Will

Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, corporate and functional title and duties, job‑related knowledge and advanced degrees, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a sign‑on bonus, restricted stock units, discretionary awards and eligibility for commissions for applicable sales roles in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as vacation, sick time, and parental leave), dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
