  • Design modern, interactive, user‑friendly web apps (UI) using React, Material UI, and similar frameworks.
  • Design and implement internal process improvements including re‑designing infrastructure for greater scalability, optimizing data delivery, and automating manual processes.
  • Build required infrastructure for optimal extraction, transformation, and loading of data from various sources using AWS and SQL technologies.
  • Build analytical tools to utilize the data pipeline, providing actionable insight into key business performance metrics such as operational efficiency and customer acquisition.
  • Work with stakeholders—including data, design, product, and executive teams—assisting them with data‑related technical issues.

  • Strong communication skills to articulate complex technical challenges and solutions to peers, junior engineers, and stakeholders, and to mentor others.
  • Experience with cloud platforms, microservices architectures, DevOps practices, and containerization technologies.
  • Considered a top candidate if familiar with our tech stack (React, Python, AWS, Lambda, Redshift, S3) and platforms (Aladdin, Bloomberg, FactSet) or our domain (research, portfolio construction, trading, execution, performance attribution across equities, fixed income, derivatives).
  • Technical skills required or strongly preferred:

    • Databases – Redshift or Snowflake
    • Python (Object‑Oriented) & SQL
    • Containers (Kubernetes or Docker)
    • CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab, Bamboo)
    • RESTful APIs
    • Apache Airflow orchestration
    • Asset Management / Financial domain experience (ETF preferred)
Core Competencies

  • Evaluate all options for resolving problems and prioritize actions or recommendations.
  • Inspire teammates by communicating ideas effectively and motivating active productivity.
  • Promote professional development and enhance team productivity through knowledge sharing.
  • Foster a culture of inclusion, psychological safety, and a strong risk culture.
