Job summary

Citigroup Inc. in Tampa, FL, is seeking an ETF Operations Intermediate Associate Analyst to support the ETF Services team in managing primary market orders and coordinating with fund managers, sponsors, and service providers to ensure timely and accurate settlement.

You will handle ETF creation and redemption orders, settlements in-kind and cash, monitor SLA compliance, research exceptions, and help maintain risk controls while leveraging Excel and standard Office tools in a high-volume,

Qualifications

• 2-5+ years of experience in accounting, finance, or a related area.
• ETF industry experience is a plus.
• Knowledge of domestic and international markets is ideal but not required.
• Ability to work in a structured, high-volume, time-sensitive, high-risk environment.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; anticipate issues and propose solutions.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.

Job description

The ETF Operations Intermediate Associate Analyst is responsible for assisting in a variety of ETF operations activities in coordination with the ETF Services team. As the overseer of primary market orders, you will collaborate with fund managers, stakeholders, and service providers to ensure efficient service delivery.

Responsibilities:

• ETF creation and redemption order processing and settlement for the primary market.
• ETF creation and redemption settlement arrangements, both in-kind and cash.
• Maintaining positive relationships with sponsors and clients
• Overseeing the settlement of secondary market trades when creating and redeeming on behalf of a client.
• ETF collateral processing and P&L calculations.
• Daily exceptions are researched and escalated accordingly for resolution.
• Ensure client service level agreement (SLA) and deadlines are met, as well as AP contractual agreements upheld.
• Monitor and research errors to ensure adherence to audit and control policies, identify issues where trade settlement is non-straight-through processing, and correct root cause.

Qualifications:

• 2-5+ years of experience with accounting, finance, or business-related area.
• Experience working in the ETF industry a plus.
• Knowledge of domestic and international markets is ideal, but not required.
• Ability to work in a structured, high-volume, time-sensitive, high-risk, and demanding environment.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to anticipate issues and suggest solutions.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.

• Bachelor’s degree/University degree in Accounting or Finance, or equivalent experience
