Job summary

The Tidal Financial Group is a leading ETF investment technology platform focused on creating, operating, and growing ETFs. The ETF Portfolio Management team provides portfolio management and execution services for ETF issuers, with day-to-day involvement in leveraged ETF trading.

The ideal candidate will have knowledge of equities, options, and derivatives, and will operate using Bloomberg and other institutional trading platforms in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business or quantitative field or equivalent experience.
• 0-2 years in trading equities, options, and fixed income, with emphasis on options.
• Institutional/RIA trading experience
• Proficiency with Bloomberg or similar institutional trading platforms
• Strong understanding of financial markets and trading strategies
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
• Demonstrated history of solving complex problems
• Proficient with MS Office Suite
• Very high level of Excel proficiency

Responsibilities

• Execute and manage trades across equities, options, and swaps.
• Handle day-to-day operations of the Trading Team: trade allocation, position settlement, and reconciliation.
• Use Bloomberg or other institutional platforms for trade execution.
• Collaborate with Prime Brokers and Market Makers to achieve best execution and fund efficiencies.
• Stay updated with market trends, economic developments, and trading strategies.
• Ensure performance aligns with fund objectives and delivering superior returns.
• Support Operations Team to enable transaction processing.
• Build and improve trading processes and procedures.
• Interact with stakeholders to build strong relationships.
