The Etching Operator is responsible for setting up and operating laser etching equipment to produce markings, lettering, and designs according to customer specifications. This position prepares workpieces, verifies machine setups, and performs first-piece inspections to ensure quality standards are met.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; sit; use hand to handle, or feel objects, tool or controls; and reach with hands and arms. The employee frequently is required to walk. The employee is occasionally required to climb or balance, stoop, kneel, or crouch; talk or hear and smell. The employee may lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. The employee will travel to customer locations.
