Samsung Austin Semiconductor is seeking a skilled Process Engineer to join our team in the semiconductor industry. The successful candidate will maintain and improve wafer fabrication processes, identify complex problems, and implement solutions to drive yield enhancement.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in engineering and experience with 300mm dry etch processes, SPC/APC methods, and data-driven decision making.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field.
• Experience in wafer fabrication or semiconductor processing preferred.
• Familiarity with 300mm Dry Etch processes and process control.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and respond to in-line issues in wafer fabrication etch process.
• Qualify wafer fabrication etch processes on advanced tools.
• Coordinate process qualifications and downtime with teams.
• Analyze data to identify trends and inform processing decisions.
• Adjust process parameters and monitor equipment performance.
• Execute change point management on Etch processes/equipment.
• Update SOPs and technical documents.
