Job summary

Renesas Electronics is seeking an experienced Etch Maintenance Technician to support the Palm Bay, FL facility. The role involves preventive and corrective maintenance of Etch area tools, with additional exposure to Axcelis Fusion, Semitool SST/SRD, and manual wet benches.

The position requires 5+ years in semiconductor maintenance, strong mechanical/electronic skills, SPC knowledge, and excellent communication. Work is 3 on 7am–7pm, then 4 days off, with both day and night shifts available.

Qualifications

• AS/AA in electrical, mechanical, military training, or 5+ years relevant work experience.
• 5+ years supporting AMAT Centura 5200 MxP, AMAT 8330/8110, AMAT P5000 MxP, Gasonics Aura 1000, Gasonics Iridia, STS HRM Bosch Trench Etcher.
• A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a semiconductor-manufacturing environment with a minimum of 10 years’ experience in the Equipment Maintenance Field.

• Excellent Oral communication skills
• Excellent Written Communication skills
• Demonstrated problem solving ability
• Must have knowledge of SPC and know how it is used and implemented in the manufacturing environment.
• Ability to work on complex electrical systems, to include 120, 240, and 480 volts.

Responsibilities

• This position involves the preventative and corrective maintenance of the tool sets found in the Etch area. Additional tool sets include Axcelis Fusion, Semitool SST, Semitool SRD, and manual wet benches.
• Hours are on a compressed work week, 3 days on 7am to 7pm one week, and 4 days the next week. Both day and night shifts available.
