Job summary

CTG is seeking an Etch Equipment Maintenance Technician for our client in Palm Bay, FL. The role focuses on preventive and corrective maintenance of semiconductor Etch equipment, with hands-on troubleshooting of AMAT, Gasonics, and STS systems.

The ideal candidate has extensive experience in semiconductor maintenance, strong mechanical and electronic skills, and the ability to work with cross-functional teams to maximize uptime while adhering to safety and SPC practices.

Qualifications

Minimum of 10 years of experience in equipment maintenance, with at least 5 years of experience in a semiconductor manufacturing environment.
Minimum of 5 years of experience supporting semiconductor Etch equipment.
Experience with AMAT Centura 5200 MxP, AMAT 8330/8110, AMAT P5000 MxP, Gasonics Aura 1000, Gasonics Iridia, and/or STS HRM Bosch Trench Etcher strongly preferred.
Experience supporting Axcelis Fusion, Semitool SST, Semitool SRD, or manual wet benches is a plus.

Responsibilities

Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on semiconductor manufacturing equipment in the Etch area.
Troubleshoot and repair equipment using strong mechanical and electronic skills.
Identify equipment issues, determine root causes, and implement effective corrective actions.
Document maintenance activities, equipment conditions, and corrective actions accurately.
Work collaboratively with manufacturing and engineering teams to resolve equipment and process issues.
Follow established manufacturing procedures, safety requirements, and maintenance standards.
Utilize SPC principles to monitor and improve manufacturing processes.
