Job summary

Renesas Electronics is seeking an experienced Etch Maintenance Technician to support the Palm Bay, FL facility. The role focuses on preventative and corrective maintenance of Etch area tool sets, with additional tools including Axcelis Fusion and Semitool benches.

Onsite work with day/night shifts during compressed weeks, ITAR eligibility required. Ideal candidates have 5+ years in semiconductor manufacturing, with strong mechanical/electronic skills, SPC knowledge, and a proven problem-solving

Qualifications

• AS or AA in electrical, mechanical, military training, or 5+ years relevant work experience.
• 5+ years supporting AMAT Centura 5200 MxP, AMAT 8330/8110, AMAT P5000 MxP, Gasonics Aura 1000, Gasonics Iridia, STS HRM Bosch Trench Etcher.
• A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a semiconductor-manufacturing environment with a minimum of 10 years’ experience in the Equipment Maintenance Field.
• Strong mechanical skills.
• Strong electronic skills.
• Demonstrated problem solving ability.
• Must have knowledge of SPC and know how it is used and implemented in the manufacturing environment.
• Must be able to lift 40lbs.

Responsibilities

• This position involves the preventative and corrective maintenance of the tool sets found in the Etch area. Additional tool sets include Axcelis Fusion, Semitool SST, Semitool SRD, and manual wet benches.
