Job summary

Skyworks Solutions, Inc. is seeking a N1 MFG Equipment Maintenance Tech - Etch in Hillsboro (Brookwood). The role involves maintaining wafer fabrication equipment on a compressed night shift from 6:30 p.m.

to 6:30 a.m., with cleanroom attire and PPE as required. The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of hands-on maintenance in a high-volume semiconductor environment, strong mechanical/electronic skills, and fluent English. This is a non-visa-sponsorship role with competitive benefits and pay.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in a technical discipline or equivalent military experience is required.
• Minimum of 2 years of hands-on maintenance experience in high-volume semiconductor environment.
• Must adhere to all company safety protocols.
• Demonstrated collaboration to improve equipment availability through experimentation and standardized methods.
• Strong mechanical, electronic, and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; fluent in English.
• Comfortable navigating computers; MS Office familiarity is a plus.
• Flexible to adapt to changing priorities; able to work with minimal supervision.
• Physically able to stand/walk up to 12 hours per shift and lift up to 35 pounds.
• Able to wear PPE and work in a cleanroom environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on wafer fabrication equipment.
• Prioritize tasks with factory management to meet production goals.
• Analyze root causes with engineering to improve equipment availability.
• Coordinate with vendors and field service; attend required trainings.
• Attend shift pass-down meetings and communicate daily activities.
• Document all work performed on equipment.
