Job summary

Volarify seeks an Estimator in Fenton, MI to develop competitive estimates across residential, commercial, and industrial lines. You will create floor plans in Xactimate Sketch, manage jobs to completion, review budgets, and communicate progress with clients and management.

Responsibilities include maintaining client relations, adhering to budgets, and applying building-code knowledge. Training to achieve Estimator certification is provided.

Qualifications

• English literacy and fluency is required.
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills and experience with Xactimate.
• Professional demeanor and appearance with excellent telephone skills.
• Ability to work well with others and maintain professional interactions with coworkers and vendors.
• Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills.
• Maintain strong attention to detail and safeguarding property and information.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain local-area clientele.
• Create accurate floor plans in Xactimate Sketch.
• Maintain knowledge of building codes.
• Create and adhere to budgets and address overages.
• Follow company naming conventions for estimates and documents.
• Demonstrate proficiency with removal, decontamination and mitigation techniques.
• Maintain a construction schedule and coordinate with trades.
• Independently manage assigned work.
• Demonstrate strong communication with clients and management.
• Attend safety training as required.
