Job summary

RIMEPRO INC. seeks an Estimator to join the Water team in the United States. You will develop accurate, competitive estimates for commercial and industrial water projects, coordinating with preconstruction, operations, field teams, and vendors to deliver successful bids.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years of estimating in related sectors, strong ability to read drawings and specifications, and experience with takeoffs and VE/risk analysis. A related degree is preferred.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of estimating in construction, mechanical, industrial or water projects.
• Read and interpret drawings and specs.
• Develop competitive project estimates and takeoffs.
• Strong communication and organization across teams.
• Experience with subcontractors, vendors and bids.
• Knowledge of cost estimating, value engineering, risk analysis.
• Microsoft Office and estimating software familiarity.

Responsibilities

• Review plans, specifications, addenda, and project documents.
• Prepare accurate material, labor, and equipment takeoffs.
• Develop detailed cost estimates, bid tabulations, and proposals.
• Solicit and evaluate vendor and subcontractor pricing.
• Identify scope gaps, risks, clarifications, and value engineering opportunities.
• Conduct site visits and job walks as needed.
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, field personnel, and preconstruction teams throughout the estimating process.
• Maintain organized estimate files, cost databases, and pricing information.
• Support project turnover from estimating to operations.
• Promote a strong safety culture throughout all project planning activities.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of estimating experience in construction, mechanical, industrial, or water infrastructure projects.
• Experience performing quantity takeoffs and developing competitive project estimates.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
• Strong communication and organizational skills with the ability to collaborate across multiple teams.
• Experience working with subcontractors, vendors, and bid packages.
• Knowledge of cost estimating principles, value engineering, and project risk analysis.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and estimating software is preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred (or equivalent experience).
