Job summary

Tiello in Palm City, FL is seeking a Structural Steel/Miscellaneous Metals Estimator responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates for miscellaneous metals fabrication projects (stairs, railings, ornamental metals, ladders, embeds). Strong understanding of fabrication processes and ability to read architectural and structural drawings required; Tekla PowerFab experience is essential.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of estimating experience in structural steel or miscellaneous metals fabrication.
• Ability to read architectural, structural, and fabrication drawings.
• Proficiency with Tekla PowerFab (FabSuite) required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed and accurate estimates for miscellaneous metals fabrication projects.
• Perform quantity takeoffs from drawings, analyze specs and bid documents.
• Solicit and evaluate vendor/subcontractor pricing and develop competitive bids.
• Coordinate with detailing, project management, and production teams.
