Job summary

Tremco Construction Products Group in Coppell, TX is seeking a Senior Estimator to provide detailed material takeoffs, estimates, and technical details for panelization, facades and roofing projects. You will support sales teams with bid-ready documents and ensure alignment with project specifications and schedules.

The role emphasizes estimating accuracy, process development, and collaboration across design and manufacturing teams.

Qualifications

• 5+ years' experience in commercial construction, technical service, or similar.
• Metal commercial roofing experience providing detailed material takeoffs, project estimates, and technical details for client inquiries
• Experience with Word, Excel, On-Screen Takeoff, Bluebeam or similar estimating software
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement processes for estimating, on-screen material takeoff, and scope reviews to provide added value to the extended sales team and client base.
• Follow standard operating procedures for project estimating and manufacturing process development.
• Prepare all aspects of an estimate including interpreting specifications and architectural drawings, understanding addendums, RFIs, and all other related documents that pertain to the project for bidding purposes.
• Interpret the construction schedule for materials to be installed.
• Compute overall costs associated with the project (field labor, fabrication)
• Create and maintain a database for all projects to include all job cost estimate breakdown documentation provided to the project coordination team.
• Assist in the development of written text/illustrations for catalog and installation or design support literature for new product launches.
• Convert AutoCAD documents to PDF, GIF, JPEG, EPS, WMF, and other file formats.

GENERAL PURPOSE OF THE JOB:

The Senior Estimator supports the Panelization/Facades/Roofing business by providing detailed material takeoffs, project estimates, and technical details for client inquiries.

EDUCATION REQUIREMENT:

• Associate or bachelor's degree in Commercial Construction or similar preferred

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENT:

• Minimum of 5 years' experience in commercial construction, technical service, or similar
• Metal commercial roofing experience providing detailed material takeoffs, project estimates, and technical details for client inquiries

WORK LOCATION:

This is an onsite role at our Coppell, TX location.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

Incumbent must be able to stand, walk, sit, use hands, reach, climb, balance, kneel, talk, hear, and lift up to 50 lbs.

BENEFITS AND COMPENSATION:

The salary range for applicants in this position generally ranges between $85,000 and $105,000. This range is an estimate, based on potential employee qualifications, operations, needs, and other considerations permitted by law.
