Job summary

Alberici Constructors in St. Louis, MO is seeking a Self-Perform Estimator for our heavy civil and marine projects. The role focuses on assisting with estimating, quantity surveys, and preliminary to full pricing, with emphasis on self-perform concrete scopes.

The candidate will support client satisfaction, competitiveness of estimates, and participate in bid strategies and joint ventures. A technical degree and field experience are preferred, with familiarity in delivery methods and

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field with two years of related experience.
• Minimum of one year of field experience preferred.
• Exposure to heavy civil and/or marine projects is ideal.
• Familiarity with InEight and Planswift is preferred.
• Ability to develop winning strategies and perform complex estimates.

Responsibilities

• Assist with estimating for self-perform concrete scopes within heavy civil and marine markets.
• Support win strategy development for pursuits and go/no-go processes.
• Manage estimating and preconstruction responsibilities for various delivery methods.
• Perform highly complex take-offs and pricing.
• Cultivate relationships with subcontractors and suppliers.
• Understand bonding and insurance implications on estimates.
