IAPMO seeks an experienced Estimator to join its preconstruction team on East Coast projects, focusing on retail and commercial work. You will prepare detailed take-offs, review drawings and bid docs, and develop budgets while coordinating with subcontractors and the operations team.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years of estimating with a GC, strong cost analysis skills, and ability to manage multiple bids in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of estimating experience with a General Contractor.
• Experience in retail, commercial, grocery, distribution, or interior construction projects preferred.
• Strong ability to perform take-offs and detailed cost analysis.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings and specifications.
• Experience obtaining and leveling subcontractor bids.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple estimates simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.

Your new role

You will work alongside an experienced estimating team and gain exposure to a wide variety of commercial and retail construction projects throughout the East Coast. Main responsibilities will include preparing detailed quantity take-offs and cost estimates. Review construction drawings, specifications, and bid documentation.
