Nucor Rebar Fabrication Midwest in Marion, OH seeks an Estimator to prepare quantities-based bids for reinforcing bars and related products. You will build estimates for projects, work with takeoff software, and align with training to improve skills under supervision.

The role requires reading construction drawings, understanding CRSI/ACI standards, and proficiency with Bluebeam, PlanSwift, and Takeoff tools. Travel and overtime may be involved, with strong safety compliance across tasks.

Qualifications

• Able to read and interpret construction drawings including structural, architectural and civil drawings.
• Knowledge of concrete structures and CRSI/ACI standards.
• Proficient with estimating software tools (Bluebeam, PlanSwift, Takeoff).

Responsibilities

• Prepare timely estimates of quantities of fabricated reinforcing bars, mesh, accessories, and related products for bidding projects.
• Progress in knowledge to more complex projects under guidance of Estimating Lead.
• Communicate effectively with sales teammates regarding estimating and bidding processes.
• Adhere to NRF safety programs and standards.
• Review plans to assist in project scope and bidding strategy.
