Who You Are:

We are searching for an Estimator & Purchasing Manager that is a detailed and experienced residential home estimator to provide transparent quotes for our clients, while successfully managing budgets and vendor relationships. As a leader of this crucial function of our operation, this role is key to protecting company profitability while ensuring an exceptional customer experience. If you are someone who loves the details, who cares deeply about the quality of their craft, and who takes ownership of their operation, this could be a role you excel in.

What You'll Do:

In this role, you will support an exceptional team, all working with a shared sense of purpose, that you will provide estimating, purchasing and vendor management, project coordination, and budget control for. Specifically, you'll:

• First and foremost, align with our company mission and values


• Use your 5+ years of experience (or equivalent background and skillset) in a similar role to take ownership of developing accurate construction budgets, obtaining competitive bids, and managing costs throughout the construction process


• Develop estimates and budgets before construction begins, setting a standard of high attention to detail


• Manage our purchasing operation, negotiating the best quality and price for the homeowners we serve


• Build relationships with vendors and subcontractors, monitoring and evaluating performance and trends


• Own the project budgets, improving profit margins through corrective actions as you monitor actual costs against budget


• Collaborate with team members including sales, construction, design, and finance to resolve discrepancies and ensure purchasing aligns with project schedules


• Maintain and continuously improve our estimation and purchasing processes, navigating roadblocks and creating solutions
