Things You’ll Do

  • Prepare and manage bids, estimates, budgets, and project resources.
  • Oversee construction projects, ensuring timely completion within budget and quality standards.
  • Mentor and train interns, engineers, and field staff.
  • Build and maintain relationships with owners, subcontractors, and suppliers.
  • Conduct detailed project planning, including reviewing drawings, specifications, and contracts.
  • Analyze risks, recommend cost-effective solutions, and negotiate contracts.
  • Monitor and resolve construction issues while ensuring safety and environmental compliance.
  • Utilize software tools such as HCSS, Viewpoint, and Microsoft Office Suite to track costs, schedules, and reports.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in construction management, Civil Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 3–5+ years of progressive experience in estimating and managing projects.
  • Strong interpersonal, problem-solving, and technical skills.
  • Proficiency with construction processes, financial analysis, and scheduling software.
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs and perform ongoing physical tasks.
