Job summary

Woven Metal Products, Inc. in Texas seeks an Estimator Project Manager to manage customer inquiries, generate estimates and quotes, review material needs, and coordinate with vendors for pricing. You will track progress, process orders, and work with drafting and production teams to ensure timely delivery.

The role emphasizes accurate estimating, client service, and collaboration across departments to support sales and project execution.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret engineering and fabrication drawings.
• Knowledge of metal fabrication, materials, welding, machining, punching, cutting and forming is preferred.
• Proficient in general computer knowledge and Office Suite; E2 is preferred.
• Excellent and professional communication skills.
• Self-motivated with ability to work in a busy office under supervision.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Knowledge of materials, metallurgy, basic welding, punching, cutting and forming is a plus.
• Skilled in math, drawing interpretation, material take-offs and estimating.
• Ability to be a team player and collaborate with staff.
• Ability to model and promote company core values: reliable quality, partnership, attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Develop accurate project estimates and quotes from client specs.
• Meet or exceed margins on quoted projects.
• Follow-up with customers on open quotes or issues as needed.
• Provide excellent customer service and professional communications within brand standards.
• Maintain relationships with clients through effective communication and timely responses.
• Research material pricing related to quote development.
• Execute order entry and follow all procedures needed.
• Provide input to leadership on customer needs and quote feedback.
• Support internal staff with various tasks as needed.
• Manage projects from start to finish, tracking progress and coordinating with production and clients.
• Generate and support sales and business development activities.
• Offer solutions for client issues and coordinate with resources as needed.
• Steward company resources in sourcing, material use, and labor to minimize waste.
• Maintain data accuracy in systems like E2, invoicing, SharePoint, and ZOHO.
• Collaborate with Sales and other departments as required.
• Execute tasks assigned by supervisor and uphold safety procedures.
