Job summary

MacKay Contracting is seeking an experienced Estimator / Project Manager to pursue, win and execute heavy civil and mining work across the Western United States. You’ll influence opportunities, build relationships and guide bids from pursuit through mobilization and execution.

You’ll work closely with senior leadership and our estimating, operations and field teams to deliver results, manage risk and ensure project alignment with the original estimate, while staying connected to project

Qualifications

• Experience in estimating heavy civil and mining work.
• Ability to identify opportunities and pursue them with a plan.
• Experience coordinating with estimating, operations and field leadership.

Responsibilities

• Develop estimates, takeoffs, pricing, schedules and bid strategies.
• Collaborate with estimating, operations and field leadership to prepare competitive plans.
• Manage cost, schedule, contracts and subcontractors on awarded work.
